In March, GSF signed 8 new projects related to supporting development initiatives and capacity enhancement to promote gender equality and women's empowerment in Jordan. As part of the development initiatives, GSF is supporting:
- Deir Alla Mount Cooperative, Women in the Horticulture export Business in Deir Alla
- Ruwwad: The Arab Foundation for Sustainable Development, Female Strength: A Fitness & Self-defense Sports Program
- Al-Ruwaished Women's Association, Promote Women's and Girls' Civic Rights in Ruwaished
- Women Program Center - Aqaba, Path of Hope
Within the capacity enhancement initiatives, the Fund is supporting:
- Anjara Women Cooperative, Enhancing the Cooperative's Production of Soap and Herbal Plants
- Renas Women Cooperative Society, Improving Production of Olives
GSF has also contracted Al-Quds Center for Political Studies to implement the Reform, Inclusion, Participation and Equality project, aimed at promoting the role of women in political participation.
