The Gender and Social Fund (GSF), supported by the Canadian
International Development Agency (CIDA), aims to promote
increased, effective and equitable participation of Jordanian
women in the development of their society. Accordingly, GSF
announces its request for proposals (RFP) for the following
components:
Development Initiatives
(GSF/D6-2011):
GSF invites interested local civil society organizations to
submit proposals that will contribute to enhancing women’s
participation in the economy and labor market; proposals of up
to JD30,000 will be considered.

Capacity Enhancement
(GSF/CB6-2011):
GSF invites interested
organizations to submit proposals that will contribute to
supporting non-government organizations and cooperatives operate
their income generating projects in
a cost effective and efficient manner. The project should help
NGOs and cooperatives overcome operational challenges. Proposals
of up to JD 40,000 will be considered. Individual NGOs and
cooperatives can also apply with an application ceiling JD
15,000.
