The Gender and Social Fund (GSF), supported by the Canadian
International Development Agency (CIDA), aims to promote
increased, effective and equitable participation of
Jordanian women in the development of their society.
Accordingly, GSF announces its request for proposals (RFP)
for two of its three working components:
Knowledge Enhancement (GSF/KB2-2008):
GSF
invites interested local organizations/institutes to submit
proposals that will develop the capacity of a core group of
gender specialists (men and women) through the provision of
short term professional courses/modules on gender. Proposals
of up to JD 70,000 would be considered.
Capacity Enhancement (GSF/CB2-2008):
GSF invites interested government, semi government
institutions and universities (departments and or centers)
to submit proposals that will contribute to better
positioning the organization to address women and gender
issues and/or strengthen organizational understanding of
gender issues and knowledge about women and girls rights.
Proposals submitted under this component will be considered
in accordance to the RFP guidelines and the organistaional
mandates.
GSF accepts proposals in Arabic or English and the deadline
for receiving applications is Monday 28th July
